It was summertime, the birds were out chirping away. A light breeze surrounds the lands and fields near the village.  I look around and into the sunset, trying not to be blinded by it. Everything is so peaceful, its hard to think that anything bad could happen in such a beautiful land. I get up on my feet and stretch.              "You shouldn't be out this late. You know the beast comes out in the evenings" said a voice behind me.              "Yeah," I reply, "but what does hiding in the houses do at this time anyway? A mist surrounds the land. What in Talos is going on? Villagers scramble, and are curious to what had happened. A second ago, sunlight, a beautiful summer day, then it turned dark and dreary. I mean, you would freak out wouldn't you? A fierce roar pierces the sky. Lighting strikes the middle of a farmers field. What can it be? The villagers are anxious to find out who had interrupted their perfect day. They gather around the lightening struck ground, the fog still lingers in the air. But none of them were ready for what was about to happen. The ground starts to shake and rumble, particles of dirt hover above the ground as if in zero gravity.

I tell Icey and the pack that I need time alone. I walk into the Dark Forest, in search of the rock I used to sit at when I was younger. As I walk there I think about my life, and the past. Father, a noble warrior who died in battle, Mama, who abandoned her children, me and Icey, in desperation,  and the old pack. I will never forget what we lost defending the fortress against the Great Wolves. I make it to the rock. I sit down, and wrap my tail around my body. I look into the night sky, its so peaceful. The stars twinkling, I see a picture of my family in the divine light. "So you think you can get away with what you have done to us?" Said
